The International Master in Central and East European, Russian and Eurasian Studies (CEERES) is a two-year master degree CEERES is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree double degree programme. Students will emerge with two degrees:
- International Masters (IntM) in Central and East European, Russian and Eurasian Studies: University of Glasgow, UK/University of Tartu, Estonia
And one of the following degrees (depending on where the student spends their third mobility period):
- Master of Arts (MA) in Political Science (Central and East European, Russian and Eurasian Studies): Corvinus University Budapest, Hungary
- Master of Caucasus Studies (MCS) in Political Science (Central and East European, Russian and Eurasian Studies): Ilia State University, Georgia
- Magister (mgr) of European Studies (Central and East European, Russian and Eurasian Studies): Jagiellonian University, Poland
- Master (M) of International Relations (Central and East European Studies): KIMEP University, Kazakhstan
- Master of Arts (MA) in International Relations and Diplomacy (Central and East European, Russian and Eurasian Studies): University of Sarajevo: Bosnia & Herzegovina
The International Master in Central and East European, Russian and Eurasian Studies is a multidisciplinary programme.
CEERES is built around the important concept of regional specialisation. Within this, language training (in a key regional language) is of central importance. CEERES presents students with the opportunity to undertake a credit bearing work placement in Semester Three. This provides opportunities to develop practical, work-based skills to complement their academic studies.
