The Faculty of Political Science, University of Sarajevo, cordially invites you to the launch of the book Brave Old Continent – Why Europe Should Reinvent Itself and a public discussion on contemporary Europe. The event will take place on Thursday, 17 April 2025 at 14:00, in the Faculty Reading Room.
The book’s author, Professor Steven Van Hecke, a distinguished European political scientist from the Catholic University of Leuven and visiting professor at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Sarajevo, will be present.
In addition to the author, the book will be discussed by:
- Professor Dr. Asim Mujkić (Faculty of Political Science, UNSA), member of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina,
- Professor Dr. Dženeta Karabegović (University of Salzburg), and
- Professor Dr. Nedžma Džananović (Faculty of Political Science, UNSA).
The event will be moderated by Professor Dr. Sead Turčalo, who will also lead the discussion on the pressing challenges facing Europe today.
