MA program information

 


WHAT IS PoSIG?

The PoSIG (Political Science and Integration) master program provides students with BA in political science a unique opportunity to combine studies in Austria, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, and Kosovo and earn joint degree, either dual or multiple MA diplomas. The two-year course (120 ECTS) targets students who have completed their Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and share a genuine interest in contemporary integration policies.

PoSIG offers modules in all areas of Political Science:

Co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, this project has been funded with support by the European Commission.

 

WHERE TO STUDY PoSIG?

The first year of the program takes place at the University of Salzburg. From the academic year 2025/26, some first-year courses will also be available at University of Prishtina, Sarajevo School for Science and Technology, and Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje.

Courses of the second year take place at at least one or two of the partner universities. These are:

 

WHICH UNIVERSITY ISSUES THE DEGREE?

 

The joint degree is awarded by all universities (minimum two) attended by a student during the two-year study program.

 

HOW ARE STUDENTS SUPPORTED?

Based on the Erasmus+ KA 107 Call 2021/22/23 ,  the 9.5-month PoSIG student grants are available for the academic year  2024/25 grants for students from: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Lebanon.

 

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR POSIG?

Students with a BA in political science from the following countries and partner universities listed here are eligible to apply:
